Healthcare Plan

So the healthcare has been really big in the news lately.  Some people love it and some people hate it.  Well, I don’t know yet.  It seems a little suspicious to me because it is a very different concept from what we have now.  All there is to base it on is the other countries that have it.  Of course everyone deserves a fair opportunity, however I don’t want to be paying taxes on other people’s healthcare just as they don’t want to be paying for me.

The idea kind of scares me just because it seems so drastic.  I guess a lot of good would be done for others that can’t afford healthcare right now.  However, I hear more complaints about how it will take so long to get treated and the qualifications to be a professional will not be as high.  It has also been stated in Canada and the UK that the older you are, the less attention and more difficult it is to get treated… especially with good quality.

With 43 million Americans who are unable to have healthcare insurance this could be a good thing.  If we do adopt this plan the cost of American made goods would go down.  This would be good for U.S. employees because they will not have to stay in jobs they dislike because of health insurance.

I think only time will tell what the best solution is but I hope that regardless of the decision, it will benefit the majority of the country.
